Established in 2007 with the aim of providing professional services, having as main field of activity the development and implementation of advanced integrated software solutions for both private companies and government agencies. Starting with 2013 , the full participation in Chroot Network SRL was taken over by Bogdan-Ștefan Rotariu and the main activity of the company is since then to offer online services for hosting applications and websites.

Since 2014 , Chroot Network has become a member of RIPE so that it can assign IPv6 IP addresses, IPv4 IP addresses (assigned only within Chroot) and AS (Autonomous System) number.

• Number of customers: Over 2200 customers have already chosen Chroot.ro, and the withdrawal rate is quite low and, often, mainly related to giving up the development of projects for which the services were contracted.
